The Grille by Eichardt's - Eichardts Hotel, Queenstown
A stunning addition to the Category 2 historic Eichardt's Hotel in Queenstown now houses a superb dining establishment. Celebrating it's breathtaking location on the shores of Lake Wakatipu surrounded by New Zealands Southern Alps, The Grille interiors have been beautifully designed by Nina Bell of Imperium Group. Sumptuously fluted, tan leather banquettes custom made by Thonet NZ anchor the space ensuring diners experience a comfortable, warm visit where ever they sit. Thonet Otto Chairs cocoon those not on a banquette, and classic Thonet No.18 bentwoods are upholstered again with leather and placed around dark stained solid ash Thonet European Tables with black cast bases.
The bar area features a bespoke KMS bar leaner which includes a cleverly concealed ice trough through the centre. Elegant and visually light Thonet No.18 barstools are featured in this space. Patrons who find themselves seated admist the central bustle of the entrance and bar are welcomed by finely crafted, deep-buttoned leather Thonet Wingback Chairs which create an intimate atmosphere within the heart of The Grille.
The glittering private wine room for exclusive dining and wine tasting features classic Thonet No.18 bentwoods with upholstery, and a bespoke dark stained solid ash timber 12 seater Thonet European Table.
Outdoor furniture is sophisticated and thoughtful to the surroundings with black tables and chairs by french manufacturer Fermob from Thonet NZ.
