Since 1993 we have supplied European Thonet bentwood chairs and barstools to the New Zealand hospitality industry. We carry considerable stock in NZ so are able to supply tables, chairs, barstools, bar leaners and banquette/booth seating for cafes and restaurants at short notice.

Thonet New Zealand Ltd hold exclusive licences to manufacture contemporary furniture by leading Australasian design houses including KMS, Anibou, and Tomahawk Studios. We also offer classic furniture from the great innovators Michael Thonet, Alvar Aalto, Ingmar Relling, and Philippe Stark.

Lighting

Classic lighting designed by Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto, between 1937 - 1959.

Glassware

The Aalto vase dates back to 1936 and was first presented at the Paris World Fair the following year. Its fluid, organic form is still mouth blown today at the Iittala factory.
