Daensen Bentwood Folding Chair is named after the Nordic Bronze Age (1700-500 BC) remains of a folding chair found in 1899 near Daensen, Lower Saxony, Germany. The Bronze age folding chair is one of 18 known in Northern Europe. The Daensen Bentwood chair is a modern interpretation of Thonet's older outdoor 'feld' (field) chair designs found in the Thonet Bentwood Furniture Catalogue of 1904.
A sturdy, compact chair with timber ply moulded seat for seat comfort, the Daensen is suitable for a variety of applications including, cafes, weddings, meeting rooms and conference areas with multi-use specifications.
