El Matador Argentinian/Spanish steakhouse and tapas wine bar has a wonderful 'old world' Buenos Aires atmosphere that has cleverly incorporated 2nd-life Thonet bentwood chairs with new Thonet bentwood barstools. The Le Corbusier chairs had been acquired from another local eatery and with their broken-in use and 'slightly' used appearance, the classic armchairs set the tone of El Matador perfectly. A great example of reusing a classic furniture design that just gets better with time, and testament to the quality of the genuine Thonet Bentwood Collection.
