Emeco | 1951 Chair

470W x 510D x 770H x 460SH mm

Emeco's "1951" was introduced in 2005 in collaboration with designer Adrian van Hooydonk (pictured middle right) of BMW Group DesignworksUSA -2005.

The new chair is an update of an original Emeco chair made for Navy hospitals from 1951, and like Adrian re-considered the Mini Cooper for the current market, he brings a cool, masculine stance to the 1951 chair.

The lower cost chairs & stools have durable ABS seats and backs in five colours, and a brushed/anodized frame that stacks 6 high. Also available is a timber seat and back option.

The original 1951 chair found on ebay is pictured centre left.
